About the Shawnee Shoppe

Welcome to The Shawnee Shoppe — home of The Squirrelly Quilter Club.

I’m Shawnee — grandma to five amazing grandkids, lifelong crafter, totally hooked quilter, and chief squirrel wrangler around here.

I believe every stitch can bring a little joy, comfort, and creativity into someone’s day. The Shoppe grew from that love of making, beautiful fabric, and the simple delight of turning a stack of possibilities into something meaningful.

Here, you’ll find thoughtfully curated fabric, quilty happy mail, finishing kits, handmade creations, and plenty of creative inspiration. I choose collections with an eye for color, coordination, and those little details that make opening a box feel like a treat.

And because apparently one person cannot run a quilt shop without woodland support, I have a little help.

Hazel the Squirrel is our resident fabric enthusiast and the mascot of The Squirrelly Quilter Club. She lives for the thrill of “Oooh, new fabric!”, happy mail, and discovering the next beautiful bundle.

Hilda the Hedgehog is our happiest helper. She gathers the backgrounds, bindings, patterns, project extras, and finishing touches that help take beautiful fabric all the way to a finished project.

Together, we’re here to make quilting feel a little more joyful, a little less overwhelming, and a lot more fun.

My faith is at the heart of everything I do, and my hope is to share a bit of God’s abundant joy through cozy quilts, thoughtful gifts, encouraging details, and creative inspiration.
